A Bit About Me
I have been working with active military, military families and veterans for over 20 years. I have served as the Sanity Board for the Department of Defense, US Navy (Chicago and Jacksonville); a Tricare provider in network and a Veterans Administration Provider. Due to issues with billing and changes in oversight at Tricare, I am now offering active service and veterans a flat fee, cash rate discounted from $200/hour to $60/hour for virtual and telephone sessions. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Mental Health Therapist I work with couples, individuals and parents on a variety of issues. I have also supervised clinical staff/mental health interns at the Veterans Administration and Naval Hospital Jacksonville, and hold a special interest for military and veterans.
I have lived in the UK, Ireland and US and travel routinely, so I am also very well-versed with acculturation and culture shock issues, in addition to military lifestyle issues. My languages include French, German, Spanish and Irish.
