EAP - Corporate Counseling Associates
As per the contract with CCA, "EAP sessions are 45-minutes each, and authorized sessions will be noted at outreach.
The purpose of short-term counseling is: to work towards resolving or clarifying problem areas and reducing symptoms which are acute and inhibitory, but are responsive to short-term counseling interventions; to support clients who are managing an identifiable acute stressor(s) causing significant distress and inhibitions at work or in their personal life; and to motivate/facilitate change through immediate emotional containment, problem identification, and psycho-education for clients who could benefit from ongoing psychotherapy, but are not motivated or are ambivalent about engaging in more open-ended treatment."

An Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is a free, confidential work benefit paid for by your employer. It provides 24/7 access to professional support, including short-term counselling, legal information, and financial guidance for personal or work-related challenges.
If you are looking to access your specific workplace EAP, check your company’s internal benefits portal or ask your Human Resources department. They can provide you with the exact phone number, app or login credentials required to self-refer.
Nicole Story, EDS, MED, LMFT, LMHC - Psychotherapist, is contracted with CCA - Corporate Counseling Associates, Preferred Provider Network, one of the fastest growing provider networks in the United States serving clients whose employees work in banking, entertainment/media, education, healthcare, legal, marketing, manufacturing, municipalities, retail stores and transportation. However, the referrals must come directly via CCA.
Services are provided primarily online via a Telehealth platform and also onsite or in the office in Jacksonville Beach, as available. CCA and Headspace generally approve 8 total 45 mins sessions, clients are welcome to continue as self-pay.
